So what’s actually in my author’s cauldron? No fillet of a fenny snake, eye of newt, or toe of frog. Enjoy an array of tricks, a bevy of treats, and links to other blogs.
Happy Halloween!

Thanks,Haley! I hope your Halloween is happy, too.-Jillian
I have no trick but I am planning to enjoy a Wicken Brew. Here’s a unique Halloween treat. A fly over by the International Space Station (ISS) 250 miles up moving at 20,000 mph.
ISS
Wed Oct 31/07:54 PM
Duration 5 minutes
Max elevation 56 degrees
Approach 10 above NW
Departure 19 above SSE
ISS
Thu Nov 01/07:05 PM
Duration 6 minutes
Max elevation 63 degrees
Approach 11 above NW
Departure 10 above SE
Always right on schedule, look for a bright star-like object coming out of the northwest, passing almost directly overhead and departing into the southeast. If you can find a relatively dark place away from street lights and city lights it’s even more fascinating.
Gary, thanks for the info on the fly over. I’ll watch for the ISS tonight while I’m trick or treating.-Jillian
