Last week Laura Bradford and other literary agents exchanged tweets about authors who write fast. According to my interpretation of the tweets, expeditious authors have the potential to earn more money and take advantage of trends as long as they don’t rush through edits. Quality matters.

  1. Ooooh, good stuff! Just in time for NaNo!! I have found that enthusiasm is the key to writing faster. When a story idea is new and fresh, staying up until 3 a.m. is no problem. When the idea is no longer new, I resort to “backwards chores”…I cannot get up to do the laundry until I finish writing.
